Truro largely got a pass during Superstorm Sandy. Strong but sub-hurricane winds and minimal rain caused little damage. Truro PD reported no significant damage to infrastructure or property, and no serious injuries were reported within Truro. As a cautionary measure, seasonal homeowners may want to have friends or neighbors check your property for minor wind damage from trees or furniture being blown about.
