Truro Food Pantry needs volunteers to help stock supples 2 x /month.   Here is a little bit more info about the request.

The Truro Food Panty is looking for a few “sturdy”  volunteers to help on delivery days.   Our 2 wonderful delivery day guys – Hank & Andy– have had to listen to their backs & knees & retire from unpacking the deliveries and stocking the shelves.

Deliveries happen twice a month, usually Tuesday mornings and unloading takes less than 2 hours from start to finish.  Each Tuesday and Wednesday about 30 households are able to take home fresh fruits & vegetables, canned goods, proteins– including chicken and fish, and more.
