Truro is the Winner | Election Results Are In

Truro voters turned out in the largest election numbers in memory  – 950  – to make it a very high voter turnout for May 29 elections.  This included many new voters, both full- and part-timers who are validly registered.  The voters spoke clearly:

The winners for Select Board were Nancy Medoff (543) and Sue Girard-Irwin (535) with Kevin Grunwald (340)  and Tim Hickey (316) coming in close in third and fourth positions, respectively.

Both Nancy and Sue are first-time candidates for elected office in Truro. They bring both a new energy and new perspective to the Select Board.  Nancy is the first part-timer elected to the Select Board, having a strong record of Committee participation in Truro over many years.  Sue has also served on Truro Committees with distinction.

Our sincere thanks to Kevin Grunwald and Tim Hickey for running.  We benefitted from  important debates, discussions and many challenging moments in this process.
